One-Line Bio

Erstwhile president of two now-defunct advertising agencies

Biography

My work, for more than 30 years, has been advertising and marketing communications. Most of those years were spent at Lord Geller Federico Einstein, an advertising agency in New York City. I was one of four founding partners and worked there as a writer, creative director and agency president. From 1988 to 1991 I filled the same role at Lord Einstein O’Neill and Partners. LGFE did memorable and productive work for many clients, large and small, including IBM, The Wall Street Journal, Tiffany & Co., Steinway & Sons, The New Yorker magazine, and The New York Stock Exchange. Since 1991 I have worked as an advisor, coach, consultant, and writer for companies of all sizes from multi-nationals to start-ups, both B2B and B2C. I have helped clients conduct searches for advertising agency, PR, and media services; evaluate marketing programs, communications strategies, brand and positioning issues, client-agency relationships and creative projects. My clients have included companies such as: IBM, Knowledge Adventure, Compaq, idealab!, The New York Stock Exchange, NetGravity, The American Funds, Scholastic, Barnes & Noble, Book-of-the-Month Club, and many others. In addition to writing and consulting work I am currently a principal of Loyalty Builders LLC a marketing services firm specializing in predictive analytics, where I serve as marketing communications VP.
